Lessons, custom fitting, repairs and a fully stocked shop run by our PGA Professionals.

Welcome to the pro-shop at Ralston. Whether you need a glove and a sleeve of balls, a set of irons custom fitted, or a lesson to sharpen up your game, Colin and Greg are here to help — members and visitors alike.

About the shop

Colin Munro has been the PGA Professional at Ralston Golf Club since May 1999. He started his career at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club at the age of 16, spending six years there as assistant and qualifying after four years of PGA training.

Since arriving at Ralston, Colin has provided a fully stocked shop with a wide range of branded clothing, equipment and gifts, along with a quality repair service that includes re-gripping, re-spiking shoes and shaft replacement. He is assisted in the shop by Greg Paxton, a qualified PGA Professional since 2008. If something isn't in stock, Colin will happily order it in at the best possible price.

Custom fitting sessions

Book now for a step-by-step custom fitting session with Colin Munro, your PGA golf professional. We have a fully equipped Mizuno Fitting Cart at the shop — here is how a session works.

01
Game assessment

No one knows your game like your golf professional. An expert's eye will soon spot if your equipment is hindering rather than helping your game.

02
Shaft length

Very few players are actually suited to standard length shafts, yet most of us struggle round with clubs that are either too long or too short.

03
Grip thickness

You could be slicing the ball because your grips are too thick — or hooking it because your grips are too thin.

04
Strike analysis

Using a special mat, plus tape attached to your clubs' face and sole, the pro can determine precisely whether your irons are correctly set up for you.

05
Shaft type

Many average players would benefit from graphite shafts in their irons as well as their woods, so be sure you have the right type and flex.

06
Final analysis

With the right clubs you and your pro will clearly see the results — better, more consistent striking with shots that fly longer and straighter.
