Ralston runs a series of open competitions throughout the season, all entered through the Scottish Golf platform. Entry is open to any golfer with a current WHS handicap.

What to expect
- Most opens are individual stroke play (medal) format
- Some are stableford or texas scrambles
- All counted for handicap
- Prize-giving in the clubhouse on the day
